Day trips by car: a day out in the Park alto Garda Bresciano

The B&B Cà dei Casài, a charming house where you can relax at peace, situated on Lake Garda in the village of Toscolano Maderno, is pleased to recommend this easy day trip far from traffic and the tourist beaches in order to make your stay even more enjoyable. This route has been specifically devised in order to help you to get to know and admire the more characteristic parts of the High Garda National Park, rising above the shores of the lake.

2 – the centre of Tignale and the Sanctuary of Montecastello, built on the rocks, from where you will enjoy a breathtaking view and if you wish can go for a panoramic and relaxing walk.

3 – visit to the Park Museum, which offers you a 360 degrees knowledge of the territory of the lake, in an excursion between ‘yesterday’ and ‘today’, through its geological and historic route.

4 – Tremosine, via the beautiful Val Tignalga, where you can visit the Alpe del Garda dairy with its typical products and quality symbol. You can also have a lovely lunch here.

5 – After strolling in the historical centre of Pieve with a stop at the Terrazza del Brivido (‘Terrace which makes you shiver’), we recommend a relaxed trip back home via the Forra, a panoramic road cut into the rock which will take you to the shores of the lake.
