Art in our B&B - Sail workshop on the shores of Lake Garda - Italy

Elena Filippini was born in Salò and grew up with her two sisters in Bogliaco, playing amongst the sails in the family’s sail workshop on the shores of Lake Garda.  During her education she chose to follow humanistic studies but soon realised that she was in love with art; even while working as a children’s educator she worked also as an artist; painting, participating and organising exhibitions and working as an interior decorator...
On a whim one day she started using the sail fabric in her father’s workshop to try to create every day objects and in just a few years Kevlove was born; the handicraft workshop where Elena creates anything that inspires her out of sail fabric: hand-bags, bags, belts, furnishings, curtains, hats...

And here in the B&B Cà dei Casài Linda shares Elena’s artistic talent with her guests: Francesca’s Room is furnished with designs made in the Kevlove workshop, making the bedroom an original and unique work of art, and taking its guests silently back down to the shores of Lake Garda...

Our B&B is part of a chain of Italian bed and breakfasts which have combined their love of hospitality with their love of art.
Elena with "Kevlove"  is a handicraft artist. All in the name of those colours, flavours and combinations which have made Italy famous all over the world.
