Gaino is a peaceful little community situated at the beginning of the Camerate valley; it is made up of numerous little villages, sometimes no bigger than a few houses grouped together. One of these tiny villages is Folino, situated a few hundred metres from the centre of Gaino. Folino is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards; now quite a rare sight. From here you can join numerous footpaths for a lovely walk or ride by mountain-bike. Our B&B offers a quiet and peaceful setting but is also close to the shores of Lake Garda and in a few minutes by car you can reach areas of the lake which offer a variety of activities. Nearby you will find: numerous shops and supermarkets, chemists, health food shops, bank and cash-point machines, a post office, book shops… public beaches and beaches with facilities, lake cruises, a ferry, numerous pizzerias, restaurants, bars and ice-cream shops… archeological remains, a Roman villa, the Valle delle Cartiere (paper factory valley), The Vittoriale degli Italiani, The museum of the Divine Infant, Botanical gardens, The “Alto Garda Bresciano” national park and visitors’ museum, The Varone Waterfalls...
